The purpose of rebranding the Red Cross Stores was to go a little bit away from the label “second hand store” and create an environment that would attract much bigger audience. All the stores in Iceland got their “vintage” look and a special character. People are supposed to get the feeling that some treasures are hidden there.

PHOTOS FROM THE STORE
All the furniture: clothes hangers and stands, chairs and shelves were specially designed and build for the store.
Vintage illustrations were created to support the tone of voice. They were printed out on a foam and decorated the store. The idea for those posters was to inform buyers how the Red Cross organization works. By getting yourself a sweater you also support the food import for refugees and more.
